Our non-contingent fee model means that our advice and fees do not hinge on you taking out a new product or plan. This means that we can offer impartial advice free from bias and provide an upfront estimate to deliver the work that puts you in a positive position regardless of product type or investment size.
We always insist on at least one exploratory meeting, at our expense. This allows you the time to appreciate our approach and whether you feel there could be a good working relationship moving forward.
Thereafter we work at an hourly rate for initial planning work and before commencing we will provide an upfront estimate based on our experience of the time needed to complete your individual piece of work. Note that our fees do not automatically increase with investment size but are linked entirely to the breadth of work undertaken.
Ongoing, regular reviews are central to our advice process. This ensures that you are kept up to date with regulatory change, that your attitude to risk stays correctly aligned with your holdings and that we continue to respond to changing financial objectives. Furthermore, we will of course continue to expertly maintain and monitor your portfolio.
As most clients prefer us to have a vested interest in their success we charge a percentage-based retainer linked to the assets we manage of 1% per annum. This is taken monthly and is non-contractual with no exit fees.
